OzRunnr started with a simple observation: someone nearby is already heading to the shops or a shopping centre, or picking up a Marketplace find — and someone else nearby needs exactly that trip made on their behalf.
That's really the whole idea: people who live near each other, helping each other with an errand one of them was already running. Not a courier fleet dispatched from across the city — a local runner who already knows the shops, the streets, and the shortcuts in your area.
So instead of building another delivery fleet, we built a schedule. Local runners publish upcoming stops — supermarkets, shopping centres, specialty stores, whatever they're already doing, not just a fixed list of retailers — and you add a request before the cutoff. We shop it, and it lands at your door.
We're growing our network of local runners — so if a shopping trip is already part of your week, you could be earning from it and being the person your street counts on, not just another app. Know a store or suburb we should cover next? Get in touch — we'd genuinely love to hear from you.
